Supporting Youth and Building Foundations

KVFC's Junior Program follows the Pennsylvania Junior Emergency Emergency Service Program Compliance Manual guidelines. We offer youth in our community who are 15years old and above, with a parent or guardian's approval, and a work permit to join.

KVFC helps Juniors to start laying the foundation learning exterior fire operations, fire prevention, basic pump operations, and running calls. During their time with us as Juniors, they must maintain a C average in school and report this to their President.

KVFC encourages confidence building, team building, critical thinking skills, and encourage any path in or out of Public Safety.
